Oh what a weekend.  The past 24 hours have been such an emotional rollercoaster. 

Yesterday, Friday, someone posted on the WSNCC group about their agency BAAS having 4 more files from the shared list.  I decided to check it out.  I joined the BAAS yahoo group.  One of them read "A girl born on 10-19-2006, congenital absence of left forearm." 

I knew this would be it.  I emailed Xiaoqing and asked her to see the file.  Initially she was hesitant because we were already logged in through another agency.  At 6:30 pm, she emailed me the file and when I opened it..........I knew this was our baby girl.  Troy had a dinner to go to after work and still wasn't home.  He called and told me he was on his way home and did I need anything.  I started crying and saying I needed him to come home and see this picture, I thought she was our daughter.  He came home and as soon as he saw the picture, he said she was our daughter. 

Just after 8, I emailed Xiaoqing to say we wanted her.  At 9:15, she emailed me back saying that she was sorry, but another family was seriously interested and that she wished me luck with our agency.  I was crushed!  I emailed her back telling her that if this family fell through to PLEASE call us, we really felt like she was our daughter.  Then I emailed her again with our phone numbers and to again tell her how much this little girl had stolen our hearts. 

At 10 pm, the phone rang.  I jumped, I just knew it was her, I was shaking and almost in tears as I answered.  She expressed her concern over not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings with our current agency.  I explained that they are a Christian organization and that I felt they would understand that God had led us to our daughter with another agency.  After going over her reservations, she said that she was ours!  

She went on to tell me everything I needed to get to her on Saturday to lock this file.  I am so glad she also emailed it to me, I don't know how much registered after she said Fu Shuang Shuang was ours! 

Praise the Lord, He is so great!
